Service

Law firm brand and website design should ship as one coherent system because a wordmark, a color palette and a type pairing built in isolation from the site almost never match it once the site actually goes live. The usual pattern is a branding agency delivers a logo file and a one-page style guide, then a separate web vendor builds the site around whatever font happened to be installed, and the mismatch shows up in every letterhead, every email signature and every printed sign the firm produces afterward. Building both together means the palette, the type and the site are the same decision made once, not reconciled after the fact.

Who it is for

  • New firms and spin-offs launching without a finished brand.
  • Firms after a merger or name change that need one identity across every office.
  • Firms whose logo, colors and website were made at different times by different people.

Signs you need it

  1. 01Your letterhead, signage and website use different colors or versions of the logo.
  2. 02There is no document that tells a printer your exact colors and typefaces.
  3. 03The website was designed before the firm's current name or partners.
  4. 04Social preview images and the favicon do not match the site.
01

Why brand and site usually break apart

A firm hires a branding studio for a new wordmark, gets a PDF style guide back, then hires a separate web developer who was never given that PDF, or was given it too late to matter. The developer picks a close-enough font and a similar-enough blue, and six months later the firm notices its business cards use a different navy than its own homepage. Neither vendor is wrong exactly, they simply never talked to each other, and the firm is the one left reconciling two visual identities that were supposed to be one.

02

What gets built as one system here

A wordmark refinement or a new mark if the firm needs one, a two-to-three color palette with a working dark mode variant rather than an inverted afterthought, and a type pairing chosen for the site and applied to it directly, not translated by a second team later. That palette then drives every token in the actual site code, meaning the blue on the homepage button is the literal same value used in the logo file, not a close visual match eyeballed by a different designer months apart. That same palette then extends to the favicon, the social preview image and even the color used behind a quoted testimonial, so a firm never ends up choosing between the brand file and what actually renders on the live site.

03

Where the consistency shows up

Attorney profile pages carry the same type pairing as the homepage. The per-page social preview image generated for every page uses the firm's actual palette rather than a generic template. The favicon in a browser tab matches the mark on the letterhead. None of this is a separate line item, it is the same brand system rendered consistently everywhere the firm's name appears online, which is the entire argument for building brand and website together instead of stitching two vendors' work into one site after the fact. A prospective client who visits the site, then later receives a printed intake packet in the mail, sees the identical navy and the identical type pairing in both places, reinforcing that the same firm is behind each touchpoint rather than two different vendors' guesses at the same brand.

04

What the firm keeps afterward

The palette values, the type pairing names and the refined wordmark are documented in a short brand reference the firm can hand to a print shop, a conference sponsor or a marketing hire who needs the same navy on a banner. Brand assets built this way stay usable outside the website itself, so the firm is never locked into asking the studio to reproduce a color from memory a year later. If the firm later hires an outside marketing agency for a conference booth or a sponsorship banner, that agency can match the brand exactly from the reference document instead of guessing at a hex code from a screenshot, which is the kind of small consistency failure that erodes a brand fastest.

Deliverables

One brand, one website: Wordmark; Color palette; Type pairing; Brand reference document; Source files handed over. Tiber, the stag mascot, presents it.

How the work runs

Brand decisions come first in onboarding: wordmark, palette and type are agreed on a single reference page, then applied to the build and handed over as a brand reference.

In their words

  • The time we spent on the legal intake wording was time well spent. It explains what an inquiry achieves and is honest about what still needs a proper discussion. The awkward 'that's not quite what we meant' conversation has largely disappeared.

  • We asked for substance over slogans on the legal intake page, and that is what we got. They helped us select reference material that actually means something and explain it properly. It reads like the honest version of the calls we have every day.

The terms of engagement

Six commitments, stated as terms rather than slogans, with the conditions visible.

  1. Clause 01

The build fee comes after approval

The $797 build fee is invoiced only once the site is live and the firm has approved it. Engagements started on or before Thursday, December 31, 2026 have the $797 build fee waived, so that invoice is never raised.

  2. Clause 02

Nothing goes live until you say so

You review the whole site on a private link and mark up what you want changed. Changes at that stage do not use your monthly revisions.

  3. Clause 03

    90+ PageSpeed, kept

Every page we build and host scores 90+ on Google PageSpeed Insights for mobile and desktop. If a page drops below because of something we did, we fix it at no charge.

  4. Clause 04

Local search work continues until it lands

Local searches in your area start ranking within 3 to 5 months of launch, or the search work continues at no extra charge until they do.

  5. Clause 05

    No fixed term

There is no contract length. Cancel by email with at least 2 business days before your next invoice date, and no further invoice is charged.

  6. Clause 06

Your domain and content are yours

The domain is registered in the firm's name or stays in it. On cancellation you get an export of your content and articles within 14 days.

All sales are final: the one refund the studio makes is for a duplicate or incorrect charge caused by its own billing, reported within 30 days. The refund policy sets out how that works. Read the refund policy.

Questions about law firm brand and website design

01Do you design a logo from scratch or refine our existing one?

Either. If your firm already has a mark you like, we refine it to work cleanly across a favicon, a header and a printed letterhead. If you are starting fresh, we design one as part of the same project.

02Does this cost extra on top of a plan?

Brand work is part of the build for every plan, covered by the one-time $797 build fee invoiced after launch and your approval, not a separate line item.

03Who owns the brand assets afterward?

You do. The wordmark, palette and type reference are yours to use anywhere, including off the website, on business cards or print materials.

04Can we update the brand later if the firm rebrands?

Yes, through your client portal as a revision request, since the palette and type live as system values the whole site references, not hardcoded into individual pages.

05Do we need a full rebrand to work with you?

No. Most firms keep their mark and we refine how it is applied. A new wordmark is available when the firm needs one.

06Will the brand work outside the website?

Yes. You receive a brand reference with palette values and type names to hand to printers, sign makers and future hires.

07What happens to the brand if we change plans?

Nothing. The brand is the firm's and stays the same on every plan.

08Can you rebrand after a merger?

Yes. We plan the new identity, apply it across every office page and profile, and redirect any old firm domains to the right sections.
