Case file 06 · Business law
With legal intake, expectations now match the process before the first conversation. Calls open on the customer's situation rather than on corrections.
Before the build
Recto · The starting point
The whole of legal intake was summed up in one vague paragraph. Visitors were left to assume what an inquiry would achieve.
Verso · The problem
When it comes to legal intake, the gap between the page's tone and the service's reality was discovered mid-conversation, every time, at the caller's expense.
What we built
Content is now organised into three plain categories: what is published, what can be requested and what requires confirmation. The page pairs attorney admissions and the firm's consultation process with a short account of an intake callback, subject to the firm's conflict review, and the business reviewed each stated limitation.

The finished work passes to the firm's team, on the last of the working days.
What changed
With legal intake, expectations now match the process before the first conversation. Calls open on the customer's situation rather than on corrections.
The wording around legal intake is more careful now. It explains what we can discuss without quietly making promises on our behalf.
15 working days after content approval, including staff review and handover. The count starts when the firm approves the content, so the firm sets the start date.
Everything used here sits inside practice area pages and weekly detail updates, which come with every plan, from $137 a month. The build fee is invoiced only after launch.
Client firms are anonymized on purpose. The case study names the kind of practice, the region and the size, and the quote is attributed to the person who gave it, with their permission.
No. The intake asks for the details the firm needs to reply and routes the inquiry. It is not legal advice, it never comments on the merits of a matter, and submitting an inquiry does not create an attorney-client relationship. We are not a law firm, attorney or legal service provider.
