Service

Premium attorney website design means a small set of deliberate choices, a type pairing that is actually read carefully, one accent color instead of five competing for attention, whitespace that lets a page breathe, held consistently across every page of the site, rather than more decoration piled onto a template. For a firm handling estate planning, complex litigation or other high-value matters, that restraint is what signals competence before a visitor reads a single word of copy. It is a design discipline, not a pricing tier, which is why it is built into every plan rather than sold as an upgrade.

Who it is for

  • Firms handling high-value matters where the website is the first impression a sophisticated client gets.
  • Estate planning, trusts, business and complex litigation practices that want restraint rather than decoration.
  • Firms tired of stock gavels, handshakes and courthouse clip art.

Signs you need it

  1. 01Your site uses stock photos a competitor could also be using.
  2. 02Headings, buttons and quotes use three or four different typefaces.
  3. 03The homepage tries to say everything above the fold.
  4. 04A beautiful page loads slowly on a phone, so nobody sees it.
01

Typography as the first decision

Most law firm sites default to whatever font shipped with their template, then stack three more typefaces on top for headings, buttons and quotes. A premium build starts by choosing one type pairing, one for display headings and one for body copy, and holding it everywhere: the homepage, every attorney bio, every FAQ answer. That consistency reads as intentional rather than assembled, and it does the quiet work of making a fourteen-attorney firm's site feel like one coherent publication instead of a folder of unrelated pages someone kept adding to over the years.

02

Photography direction over stock imagery

A stock photo of a gavel or a handshake in a suit is the fastest way to signal that a site was assembled rather than designed. Premium direction means guiding what gets photographed, the actual office, the actual attorneys, in natural light rather than a studio backdrop, cropped consistently across every profile page, and it means knowing when no image is the better choice at all. A litigation firm's conference room photographed well says more about the firm than any stock courtroom image ever could, and it costs nothing extra since photography direction is part of the design process, not an add-on.

03

Pacing and whitespace as design decisions

A premium page does not try to say everything above the fold. It sequences information: the headline states who the firm serves, the next section states how intake works, the next introduces the attorneys who handle that matter, each with room to be read rather than skimmed past. That pacing is a deliberate structural choice, built section by section rather than cramming a dense homepage that tries to answer every visitor question in one screen. Firms that cover several practice areas benefit most, since pacing lets a family law visitor and a business litigation visitor each find their own path without competing for the same headline.

04

Speed is part of premium, not separate from it

A slow, image-heavy homepage undercuts every design decision made on top of it, since a visitor who leaves before the page finishes loading never sees the typography or the photography at all. Every build carries a 90+ PageSpeed guarantee on Cloudflare's global network, with unmetered bandwidth and CDN delivery included rather than itemized separately. Premium design and premium performance are treated as one requirement here, not a tradeoff a firm has to choose between when picking a design direction. A firm that wants large, detailed photography throughout its homepage and a firm that wants a spare, text-forward layout both hit the same speed target, because the guarantee applies to the build process itself rather than to how sparse or rich a particular page happens to look.

What premium design means: A custom type pairing; Photography direction; Light and dark parity; 90+ PageSpeed guaranteed; Polish passes included. Tiber, the stag mascot, presents it.

How the work runs

Premium work starts with fewer, better decisions: one type pairing, one accent, a photography direction, and a pacing plan for each page type, all approved before the build.

In their words

  • The time we spent on the legal intake wording was time well spent. It explains what an inquiry achieves and is honest about what still needs a proper discussion. The awkward 'that's not quite what we meant' conversation has largely disappeared.

GotService scope and expectations for legal intake on Solo Practice

  • We asked for substance over slogans on the legal intake page, and that is what we got. They helped us select reference material that actually means something and explain it properly. It reads like the honest version of the calls we have every day.

The terms of engagement

Six commitments, stated as terms rather than slogans, with the conditions visible.

  1. Clause 01

The build fee comes after approval

The $797 build fee is invoiced only once the site is live and the firm has approved it. Engagements started on or before Thursday, December 31, 2026 have the $797 build fee waived, so that invoice is never raised.

  2. Clause 02

Nothing goes live until you say so

You review the whole site on a private link and mark up what you want changed. Changes at that stage do not use your monthly revisions.

  3. Clause 03

    90+ PageSpeed, kept

Every page we build and host scores 90+ on Google PageSpeed Insights for mobile and desktop. If a page drops below because of something we did, we fix it at no charge.

  4. Clause 04

Local search work continues until it lands

Local searches in your area start ranking within 3 to 5 months of launch, or the search work continues at no extra charge until they do.

  5. Clause 05

    No fixed term

There is no contract length. Cancel by email with at least 2 business days before your next invoice date, and no further invoice is charged.

  6. Clause 06

Your domain and content are yours

The domain is registered in the firm's name or stays in it. On cancellation you get an export of your content and articles within 14 days.

All sales are final: the one refund the studio makes is for a duplicate or incorrect charge caused by its own billing, reported within 30 days. The refund policy sets out how that works. Read the refund policy.

Questions about premium attorney website design

01Does premium design cost more than a standard build?

No. Design quality is not a separate tier here, it is built into the Solo Practice, Multi-Attorney and Multi-Office plans alike, with a one-time $797 build fee invoiced only after launch and your approval.

02Can we supply our own photography?

Yes. If you have professional photos of your office or attorneys, send them through the onboarding form or a portal ticket and the design direction is built around them.

03Does a premium look take longer to build?

No. Timelines still run 7 days for Solo Practice, 10 for Multi-Attorney and 15 for Multi-Office, since the design system is built for speed from the first draft, not layered on afterward.

04What if we want to change the accent color later?

That is a revision like any other, raised in your client portal, one of your five included monthly requests.

05What makes a law firm website look premium?

Restraint held consistently: one type pairing, one accent color, real photography or none, generous spacing, and pages that sequence information instead of cramming it. Consistency across every page is what reads as quality.

06Do you use stock photography?

We avoid generic legal stock such as gavels and handshakes. We direct photography of your real office and attorneys, or design pages that work without photos.

07Is premium design slower to load?

It should not be. Every page carries the same speed guarantee, and design choices are made with that in mind from the first draft.

08Can a solo attorney have a premium site?

Yes. Design quality is the same on every plan; the plans differ in what answers the phone and how much is published.
