Service

Boutique law firm website design answers a narrower question than a full-service firm site does: not "what does this firm do", but "is this the right firm for my specific problem", and it answers that question by going deep on one or two practice areas instead of listing many shallowly. A two-attorney estate planning boutique and a ten-attorney general practice firm need genuinely different site structures, and forcing a boutique firm into a generic practice-area grid built for a firm with twelve specialties wastes the exact focus that makes a boutique firm worth choosing in the first place.

What it costs

  • Plans$137 a month
  • Build fee$797, after launch
  • Live in7 days
  • Revisions5 a month
  • Domain and hostingIncluded

Who it is for

  • One to five attorney firms that do one kind of work very well.
  • Practices that want depth on their niche rather than a list of every practice area.
  • Solo attorneys planning to add an associate or a second matter type.

Signs you need it

  1. 01Your site lists practice areas you do not actually take, to look bigger.
  2. 02Your one practice area has one short page.
  3. 03Prospects call to ask questions your site could answer.
  4. 04You want to grow but the site has no place for a second attorney.
01

Depth instead of a practice-area grid

A full-service firm site often shows a grid of twelve practice-area tiles, each linking to a thin paragraph. A boutique firm, say a two-attorney estate planning practice, does not need that grid at all. It needs a homepage that leads directly with what the firm actually does, followed by matter pages deep enough to walk through the specific process a visitor is worried about: what a revocable trust actually changes, what happens if a parent dies without a will. That depth is only possible because the site is not also trying to represent nine other practice areas the firm does not handle.

02

Tone built for a smaller, more personal practice

A boutique firm usually sells personal attention as much as expertise, and the site should read that way: direct language, attorney bios that explain why this specific practice was chosen rather than a generic partner-track biography, a homepage that names the two attorneys instead of hiding them behind a "meet our team" link three clicks deep. A three-office personal injury firm can afford to feel institutional. A two-attorney family law boutique cannot, and design decisions like typography weight and photo cropping carry more of that tone when there are fewer pages competing for attention.

03

Structure that still has room to grow

Boutique does not mean permanently small. The information architecture is built so a third matter type or a second attorney can be added as a revision later, a new profile page and a new practice-area page slotting into the existing structure, rather than forcing a rebuild the day the firm expands. A boutique estate planning practice that later adds elder law does not need a new site, it needs one new page built inside the system that already exists, which is the whole point of designing the structure deliberately instead of narrowly.

Deliverables

Depth over a long menu: Practice areas up front; Deep matter pages; Bios built around the niche; Matter-specific FAQs; Room to grow. Tiber, the stag mascot, presents it.

How the work runs

A boutique build maps the handful of matter types you take into deep pages, writes the questions your clients actually ask, and leaves room in the structure for the next attorney.

  1. 01

    Pay the first monthly invoice

The only payment before launch. It starts the build and covers your first month once the site is live.

  2. 02

    Onboarding form and one call

Offices, attorneys, matter types, consultation terms and routing rules. About 15 minutes of form, one call to confirm it.

  3. 03

    The studio designs and builds

Practice area pages, office pages, attorney profiles, the intake router, the CRM connection and redirects from your old site.

  4. 04

You review on a private link

Mark up anything you want changed. Nothing goes live until the firm approves it.

  5. 05

    Launch, then every week

Live on your domain in 7, 10 or 15 days depending on plan. Weekly updates and articles start the same week.

In their words

  • If you only look at the design you miss the best bit, which is the inquiry form. It asks for practice area, county and safe callback time before anything is sent, which is the information we used to chase by email. We answer properly on the first reply far more often than we used to.

  • I tested the legal intake page on my own phone before we approved anything. The important details sit near the top and the inquiry button is impossible to miss. It is far more practical than the old page when we share it with a caller.

What it costs

The price is set by plan, not by page count or hours. Every plan carries the same design and build quality; what changes is what answers the phone and how much is published each week.

The terms of engagement

Six commitments, stated as terms rather than slogans, with the conditions visible.

  1. Clause 01

The build fee comes after approval

The $797 build fee is invoiced only once the site is live and the firm has approved it. Engagements started on or before Thursday, December 31, 2026 have the $797 build fee waived, so that invoice is never raised.

  2. Clause 02

Nothing goes live until you say so

You review the whole site on a private link and mark up what you want changed. Changes at that stage do not use your monthly revisions.

  3. Clause 03

    90+ PageSpeed, kept

Every page we build and host scores 90+ on Google PageSpeed Insights for mobile and desktop. If a page drops below because of something we did, we fix it at no charge.

  4. Clause 04

Local search work continues until it lands

Local searches in your area start ranking within 3 to 5 months of launch, or the search work continues at no extra charge until they do.

  5. Clause 05

    No fixed term

There is no contract length. Cancel by email with at least 2 business days before your next invoice date, and no further invoice is charged.

  6. Clause 06

Your domain and content are yours

The domain is registered in the firm's name or stays in it. On cancellation you get an export of your content and articles within 14 days.

All sales are final: the one refund the studio makes is for a duplicate or incorrect charge caused by its own billing, reported within 30 days. The refund policy sets out how that works. Read the refund policy.

Questions about boutique law firm website design

01What if our firm only handles one type of case?

That is the exact case this structure is built for. The homepage and every page can go deep on that one matter type instead of leaving space for practice areas you do not offer.

02Can the site grow if we add attorneys or matter types later?

Yes. New profile pages and practice-area pages fit into the existing structure as revisions, without a rebuild of the site around them.

03Which plan fits a small boutique firm?

Solo Practice at $137 a month typically fits a one-to-two attorney boutique, with a 7-day build and the same one-time $797 build fee invoiced after launch and approval.

04Does a boutique site skip any of the standard build quality?

No. The 90+ PageSpeed guarantee, Cloudflare hosting and monthly revisions apply the same way regardless of firm size.

05Is a managed plan overkill for a small firm?

Not if the site is still nobody's job. The smallest plan gives a solo or boutique firm the same structure and weekly management as a larger firm.

06How many pages does a boutique firm need?

As many as the matter types you take, each explained properly, plus an attorney page, an office page and the articles. Depth matters more than breadth.

07Can our boutique site rank against bigger firms?

A focused site with deep, specific pages can compete well on the searches it covers. We never promise rankings, but specificity is the boutique firm's advantage.

08What if we later add a second office?

It becomes a new office page from the same template, as part of your plan.
