A criminal defense website has to be fast, clear about what the firm handles, and immediate about how to reach someone. We build a page per charge type, a page per office and court, and an intake router that treats "arrested today" differently from "received a summons".
The problem
- The site lists practice areas as a bulleted paragraph, so it does not rank for any specific charge in any specific county.
- There is no distinction between an urgent inquiry and a general one, so a person in custody waits behind a general question.
- The office pages do not say which courts the firm appears in, which is the first thing a local searcher wants to know.
- The site loads slowly on mobile, and a person searching from a police station parking lot does not wait.
Where it works
We build for criminal defense firms across the US, by video call and email. Office pages and service-area pages are built for the cities and counties you serve, and each attorney profile lists every state they are admitted in.

The build
Each one written answer-first for a specific search, each routing to the attorney and office that take it.

- Assault and violent offenses
- Theft and property crimes
- Federal charges

In their words
Updating legal intake content used to mean describing a change by phone and hoping. Every change is recorded as old text, new text, approver, then published from that record. Far easier than narrating edits and hoping they survived the telling.

The documentation for the legal intake pages assumes nothing about the reader. It covers who to contact, how to request a change and what to check after publication. It has already earned its keep during one absence and one staff change.

Case studies
The schedule
What the monthly fee covers on every plan, and, just as plainly, what it does not.
- 01
The site
Practice area pages, an office page per location, a profile per attorney, and a blog. Designed and hand-built by the studio.
- 02
The intake router
Three questions, then the inquiry goes to the right office or attorney with your consultation terms shown.
- 03
A free domain
Registered in the firm's name for as long as the plan is active, or we point the one you already own. Either way it stays yours.
- 04
Cloudflare hosting
SSL, CDN, DDoS protection and unmetered bandwidth on Cloudflare's network. No hosting bill, no bandwidth overage, nothing itemized.
- 05
Your CRM, connected
Every inquiry written to the intake CRM you already use, by API, Zapier or Make.
- 06
Fully managed
Weekly detail updates, 5 revisions a month from your client portal, 2 researched articles a week, and a person to email.
Not on the invoice
What is not included
Legal advice or a compliance sign-off
We are not a law firm. We write to avoid outcome claims and add the disclaimers you ask for, but the firm reviews its content and stays responsible for its advertising rules.
Revisions beyond 5 a month
Each extra revision is a flat $20, with no hourly billing. Weekly detail updates never count as revisions.
AI usage on the AI Engine plans
The AI Engine is inside the Multi-Attorney and Multi-Office fee; the minutes answered and messages handled are billed at cost each month, with a running total you can see.
The AI Engine on Solo Practice
Solo Practice carries the full site, intake router and management. The AI receptionist, chat and messaging agents start on Multi-Attorney.
Social posts, reels and Google Business Profiles below Multi-Office
The Content Engine is on Multi-Office only. The other plans carry 2 researched articles a week.
A photographer on site
We give photography direction and build around the photos you send, or design pages that work without photos. We do not send a photographer.
Heavy third-party scripts against our advice
The 90+ PageSpeed guarantee does not cover scripts you ask us to add after we have told you what they will cost the score.
How it works
Nothing advances along a track here. Each stage takes weight off the firm and puts it on the studio, until the beam sits level on the day the site goes live.
Stage 01 of 04
Built with the rules in mind
These pages help you meet the rules your firm works under. They are not legal advice, and the firm reviews and approves them; we change any wording your compliance review asks for as a weekly update.

Questions from criminal defense firms
01Can the site take inquiries around the clock?
The intake router does on every plan. On Multi-Attorney and Multi-Office the AI receptionist also answers the phone, collects the details and pages the on-call attorney for urgent calls.
02Can we list the courts we appear in?
Yes. A "Courts we appear in" page and the relevant lines on each office page let the site rank for court-specific searches and tell a local visitor immediately that the firm knows their courthouse.
03Will the articles discuss specific charges?
They explain how a type of charge generally proceeds in your state and what a person can expect from a first consultation, with sources cited and no advice about any reader's own case.
04How do you handle attorney advertising rules for defense firms?
We avoid outcome claims, comparisons and any "specialist" language your bar restricts, and we add the disclaimers you require. Compliance edits go through as weekly updates.
05Which plan suits a criminal defense firm?
Firms that need calls answered at night and on weekends usually choose Multi-Attorney, which adds the AI receptionist that pages the on-call attorney for urgent calls. A solo practice can start on Solo Practice with the router.
06Can the site show our phone number on every page?
Yes. A tappable call button is on every page, and on the AI Engine plans the phone is answered when your team cannot.
07Can we have pages for federal and state charges separately?
Yes. Each charge type gets its own page, and federal matters can have their own section with the courts you appear in.
08Is the site fast on a phone?
Every page is hand-coded and static, with a speed guarantee on mobile and desktop. Defense searches often happen on a phone in a hurry, so this matters.
