Comparison

A HighLevel website is a sensible choice when your agency already runs the firm's CRM in HighLevel and has the time to design, write and maintain the pages. A managed firm website is the better fit when you want a studio to own the site end to end: a page per matter type, office and attorney, schema generated for every page, weekly updates and researched articles, while HighLevel stays your CRM.

What it is

HighLevel's website builder uses the same drag-and-drop builder as its funnels. It covers SEO metadata, custom CSS, header and footer tracking code, booking calendars, forms and a chat widget, and it includes a blog that can import posts from other platforms.

Sites are hosted inside HighLevel, with SSL issued automatically once a custom domain is connected. HighLevel states there is no supported one-to-one export of its websites.

01

The builder is capable; the question is who carries the work

Nothing stops a skilled builder from making a good firm site in HighLevel. The hard part at a law firm is not the tool, it is the weekly reality: a partner moves office, an associate is admitted in a second state, a fee changes, a new practice group opens. Someone has to design those pages, write them to advertising rules and keep them current. On a managed plan the studio does it.

02

Structure for a firm with offices

A multi-office firm needs every office to be a page with its own address, hours, attorneys and LocalBusiness data, and every attorney profile to link to the offices and matter types they cover. We build that structure once and maintain it; in a general-purpose builder each page is assembled by hand.

03

Keep the CRM, change the front door

You do not have to choose between them. The site handles being found, answering and routing; HighLevel handles the pipeline, calendars and follow-up. The intake router writes into HighLevel just as a HighLevel form would.

Side by side

Be honest

  • Your agency builds and maintains everything in HighLevel and has capacity to keep a multi-page firm site current.

  • You are a one-attorney practice that needs a simple site next to an existing HighLevel CRM.

  • You want to edit pages yourself in the same tool as your pipeline and calendars.

And when we are

  • You want the website to be someone else's job, every week, including writing.

  • You have several offices or practice groups and need a structure that grows by adding pages.

  • You want a published speed standard (90+) and schema on every page without configuring it yourself.

Switching, or using both

The usual path is to move the public website to the studio and leave HighLevel in charge of the back office.

  1. 01We map every page on the current HighLevel site and decide, with you, what to keep, rebuild or merge.
  2. 02We build the new site, connect its forms and intake router to your HighLevel pipeline, and embed any HighLevel calendar you want to keep for booking.
  3. 03At launch we point the domain at the new site and set 301 redirects from the old page addresses, then check search console for anything that did not carry.

In their words

  • Our after-hours calls used to go to voicemail and get returned the next afternoon. Now the phone is answered, the details are in our CRM with a summary, and the attorney who handles that matter type sees it first thing.

  • People looking for a defense lawyer are on their phone and they are not patient. The old site made them wait. This one opens straight away and the call button is right there on every page.

  • Most of our inquiries come in the evening, often by text. The chat and SMS agents take the details, never comment on the case, and book the consultation with the right attorney. Our team starts the day with a clean list.

Questions about GoHighLevel websites and AttorneyWebStudio

01Is a GoHighLevel website good enough for a law firm?

It can be, if someone skilled builds it and keeps it current. The builder has SEO metadata, sitemaps, redirects, forms and a blog. The difference with a managed site is who designs, writes and maintains the pages every week.

02Can our intake still go into GoHighLevel?

Yes. The site's intake router and forms write into your HighLevel account, tagged with matter type, office and urgency, and HighLevel calendars can be embedded for booking.

03Will we lose rankings moving off a HighLevel site?

Not if the move is mapped. We list every existing URL, rebuild what should be kept, and set 301 redirects before launch so search engines carry the signals across.

04Can we export our HighLevel website to move it?

HighLevel states there is no supported one-to-one export of its websites. We rebuild the pages on the new site rather than importing them.

05Does HighLevel have a chat widget? Do you?

HighLevel includes a chat widget in its Sites area. On our Multi-Attorney and Multi-Office plans the AI Engine runs the site chat, SMS, Messenger and Instagram, configured never to give legal advice.

06Which is faster?

It depends on how a HighLevel page is built. Our sites are hand-coded static pages with a 90+ PageSpeed guarantee on every page we build and host.

07Who writes the pages on each?

In HighLevel, the firm or its agency. On our plans the studio writes the practice area pages and 2 researched articles a week, and you approve.

08Does AttorneyWebStudio replace our HighLevel agency?

No. We replace the job of building and maintaining the public website. Your agency can keep running your CRM, automations and campaigns.
